Installation Method
Step 1Step: Install Guide Rails
Ensure the guide rail installation positions on both sides of the fire shutter door, mark the guide rail reference line with a hammer line, and draw the cross-line for the fixing bolts of the guide rail connectors. The guide rail should extend beyond the ceiling by no less than 75cm.
2. Holes for expansion bolts are drilled into the wall columns using a hammer drill, ensuring the spacing between connectors does not exceed 600 mm, and that both ends are 100 mm away from the guide rail opening. First, securely fasten several connectors vertically, then attach the guide rail, align it vertically, and spot-weld it in place. After the guide is fixed, recheck the vertical alignment, ensuring it does not exceed 5 mm per meter, with the total length not exceeding 20 mm, and that the composite curtain is inserted to the appropriate depth into the guide rail.
3. The remaining connecting parts shall be installed, with the connecting parts being spot-welded to the guide rails. There should be no fewer than 5 spot-weld points between each connecting part and a guide rail, and the width of the spot welds should not be less than 5 mm. Absolutely no penetration should occur at the welding points. When using stainless steel guide rails, stainless steel welding rods should be used for the welding process.
Step 2: Install the roller
Based on the center height of the scroll design in the large-scale drawing, mark the center position of the active support plate on the column or wall, and draw the center crossline of the expansion bolts.
2. Based on the center of the main bearing plate, use a horizontal plastic tube to locate the center of the driven bearing plate and the crossline of the driven expansion bolt holes.
3. Drilling: When using an impact drill to create expansion holes, ensure the drill bit is perpendicular to the column surface. If individual screw holes encounter rebar and cannot be drilled, they may be slightly moved, but this should not affect the stability or appearance.
1. Installed straight support brackets.
(1) Install the active support plate (the driving motor bracket is pre-connected and welded to the support plate), and then tighten the expansion bolt that passes through the support plate hole using nuts, spring washers, and flat washers. The support plate surface must be perpendicular to the roller shaft.
(2) Installation from the driven bearing plate direction is the same, but before tightening the bolts, it is required to check the center height of the driven bearing plate against the active bearing plate using the horizontal pipe, ensuring the levelness is within 1/300 of the opening height. Any deviation should be adjusted promptly.
(3) The bearing plates, which support the entire door's weight, are not sufficiently stable even with expansion bolts in place. Additional support or reinforcing ribs should be added. For on-site fixation, welding, and brick wall mounting of bearing plates, use through-bolts.
5. Install fire reels
Before installing the scroll, first position the mounting plate and attach it to the scroll. Then, install 4-6 curtain slats onto the mounting plate and secure them tightly around the scroll with iron wire.
(2) When hoisting rolls, safety must be paramount. Assign a designated person to oversee the operation, and ensure ladders, scaffolding, and winches are all checked for safety. During installation, first insert the shaft with the mounted bearings and seat into the roll's end hole, then align it and securely tighten the bearing fixing bolts.
(3) Once the scroll is properly mounted, you can move the roller left or right to adjust its position. Additionally, use a level and a level tube to check the scroll's level. After adjustment, securely weld the light shaft to the scroll. Fasten the light shaft to the bearing with a bracket screw.
(4) Pay special attention to not damage the curtain slats wrapped around the drum during drum hoisting. Use wooden boards as padding when securing with钢丝 ropes.
Step 3: Install the Counter shaft - When necessary for special occasions:
At one end of the door pillar, determine the center height position of the shaft, and draw the cross-line for the bearing plate connection bolt holes. Using this as a reference, locate the center position of the shaft at the other end of the door pillar, and draw the cross-line for the bearing plate screw holes.
2. Drill expansion bolt holes using an impact drill; the requirements for installing expansion bolts are the same as before.
3. Install the upper bearing seat and the shaft, while simultaneously checking the level surface, the operation is the same as that for the roller shaft.
Step 4: Install the fire shutter door motor
First, place the chain over the sprocket on the bracket, then fit the chain onto the small sprocket before securing the drive base. Next, tighten the fixing bolts; at this point, jiggling the chain will cause the roller to rotate.
Step 5: Curtain Panel Installation
First, loosen several slats on the roller shutter. Use a level tube and ruler to check that the unevenness of the roller shutter does not exceed 1/300 of the opening height. If there is an excessive tilt, identify the cause and make adjustments.
2. By rotating the scroll, thread the slats onto it, and finally, install the bottom rail of the slats. When hanging the top slat, pay attention to the seal head. Additionally, if you thread the remaining slats together beforehand, be particularly careful during movement and bundling to avoid deforming the slats.
Check the suitability of the circular arc bend at the top of the guide rail, then lower the roller shutter and walk around to observe for any jamming occurrences.
Step 6: When installing the wheel bracket design, first determine the bracket position on the side wall columns of the door, following the same method as the roller. After installing the bracket, attach the wheel. Ensure that the center height and horizontal alignment of all wheels are uniform, then secure them in place.
Step 7: Install electrical control boxes, lock boxes, etc.
1. As required, lock boxes are installed, and holes for the electrical control box are drilled with a hammer drill, aligning the cross lines. The installation of the lock box and electrical control box must be level and vertical, secured with M6 or M8 bolts, ensuring a firm hold.
2. Install wire conduit connections between lock boxes and electrical control cabinets. Secure the ends of the wire conduit with nuts. If necessary, copper connectors can be used for connections. The spacing between conduit clamps is generally...
No more than 100 cm.
3. Install electrical control panels, limit switches.
4. Connect electrical wires, including power lines, signal lines, etc., following the "Regulations for Low-Voltage Electrical Installations." The metal hoses should have both ends of the wires wrapped with plastic tubes or paraffin tubes. Use dual-color wire for grounding and ensure that the grounding wire is securely fastened.
Power on, manually lower the roller shutter by one-third, roll the curtain panel, adjust the upper and lower limit positions, then operate the roller shutter up and down a few times to check if the operation is smooth.
Step 8: Install fire-rated partition walls
Install fire partition line at the dam position, ensuring the partition wall is as close as possible to the drum and guide rail without affecting the roller shutter.
2. Based on the layout, expansion bolts are secured by using an impact drill on the wall sides and at the top.
3. The fire-resistant board is installed into the angle steel frame and securely welded in place. The installation of the fire-resistant partition walls requires them to be straight and sturdy.
Step 9: Paint: Apply rust-inhibiting paint to areas that were not pre-treated for corrosion, including weld scars (weld slag and rust layers should be removed).
