Over the past two years, with the national promotion of energy-saving products, the new generation of water heaters - air-source heat pumps - have entered a period of rapid development. From south to north, the rapid proliferation of air-source heat pumps has become a household name, and Jinmu Jinggong is a professional manufacturer of variable frequency air-source heat pumps. Depending on the different designs of air-source heat pumps, they can be categorized into variable frequency and fixed frequency units. Today, let's take a look at the differences between fixed frequency and variable frequency air-source heat pumps.
Generally, what we see in our daily lives are fixed-frequency air energy water heaters. As the name implies, fixed-frequency air energy water heaters can only operate at a fixed hertz frequency, resulting in a relatively single working mode. Variable-frequency air energy water heaters, on the other hand, involve the installation of a variable frequency inverter on the air energy equipment by the air energy manufacturers, along with structural adjustments, enabling the water heaters to operate at different frequencies, offering a wider range of operational modes.
Regardless of where we live, even if there's little variation in the four seasons, temperatures still fluctuate frequently. During winter and summer, different environments call for varying hot water needs. When temperatures are low, the hot water temperature required for a bath naturally needs to be higher. Conversely, when temperatures are high, the hot water temperature required for a bath is naturally lower. However, fixed-frequency air-source heat pumps, which can only operate at a single 50 Hz frequency, lack sufficient heating performance in winter and overheat in summer. In contrast, variable-frequency air-source heat pumps can better adapt to environmental changes.
The automatic mode can also be understood as the all-effect mode. In this mode, the air-to-water heater can operate at high frequency, with superior heating performance compared to traditional models. This means the heater can provide more hot water simultaneously and is better suited for cold environments. However, when choosing, we need to consider our own needs rather than blindly pursuing variable-speed equipment. After all, variable-speed equipment incorporates a variable speed drive, which increases costs and raises prices.
