The saying "three parts product, seven parts installation" holds true, especially for air-source heat pump water heaters in water-containing systems. From the initial site analysis to the local climate and even the buried pipes, every detail must be carefully considered. Any relaxation in any stage could compromise the safe operation of the entire system.

Installation Precautions:

Install aircraft components in environments sheltered from direct sunlight and rain, otherwise, protective coverings are required.

2. The aircraft is factory-equipped with a water flow switch; no additional installation is required by the user.

3. The unit is equipped with flexible connections for the hot water outlet pipe, circulating water pipe, and cold water inlet pipe, which prevent vibrations from transferring from the unit to the pipes.

4. Select a horizontal position that can support the weight of the heat pump water heater without increasing noise and vibration.

5. The installation location should be far from areas directly affected by strong electrical and magnetic fields.

6. The installation location should be convenient for debugging and maintenance, with reserved space for inspection.

7. Aircraft must install anti-vibration devices to prevent the transmission of vibrations to the building.

8. Ensure proper pipe insulation to prevent energy loss.

9. Sufficient space should be left on the outer side of the aircraft.

October 10th: A Y-type filter must be installed at both the main water intake and the recirculating heating water intake to prevent impurities from damaging the equipment.

The rigid piping of the main unit should be equipped with spring vibration dampers to prevent the vibration from being transmitted to the building.

Install water pressure gauges and thermometers for maintenance and repair purposes.

Installation of condensate drain piping for the unit: Align the drain pipe and insert it into the drain connection located beneath the base of the heat pump water heater, then route it to the waste pipe.

Select an air intake and exhaust location that is unobstructed and not enclosed. Maintain a small distance between the three sides of the heat pump water heater and the walls.
