As summer is just around the corner, how can we prepare forklifts for the heat? Today, I'll discuss this very issue with you!
Before the summer vacation, it is essential to prepare in advance by draining winter lubricants from the engine, drive shaft, transmission, and steering gear, then clean and replenish with summer lubricants as required.
2. Clear waterways, remove scale from the cooling system, and unclog the radiator fins. Regularly check the tension of the fan drive belt.
3. Adjust the generator regulator appropriately to reduce the generator's charging current.
4. During operation, be cautious to prevent the engine from overheating, and always monitor the coolant temperature gauge. If the coolant temperature is too high, take cooling measures. When refilling, be careful to avoid boiling of the coolant to prevent burns.
5. Regularly check the tire temperature and pressure. If necessary, park in the shade and continue operation after the tire temperature has cooled down. Avoid lowering the pressure and temperature by releasing air or pouring cold water, as this may reduce the tire's lifespan.
Regularly inspect braking efficiency to prevent the aging, expansion, and deformation of the master cylinder or brake cylinder cups, as well as the evaporation of brake fluid, which can lead to brake failure.
7. Adjust the electrolyte density of the battery, clear the ventilation ports on the battery cover, maintain the electrolyte level 10-15mm above the separator, and add distilled water as necessary.
