When cleaning LCD screens, never use any alkaline or chemical solutions to wipe the surface. Stains on LCD panels generally fall into two categories: one is accumulated dust from the air over time, and the other is smudges and oil left by users inadvertently. Many people make mistakes when cleaning LCD screens. Appliance experts caution that these details can cause damage to the LCD if not handled properly.
Wipe the LCD screen with a soft cloth or paper towel. Never use a general soft cloth (such as eyeglass cloth) or paper towel to clean the LCD screen, as their surfaces are still too rough for the delicate LCD screen, which can easily be scratched.
2. Clean LCD screens with clear water. When cleaning with liquid, it's easy for drops to enter the interior of the LCD screen, which can cause a short circuit in the device's circuitry, potentially damaging the expensive electronic equipment.
3. Clean liquid crystal screens with alcohol and other chemical solvents. LCD screens are coated with a special layer on the screen. Using alcohol to wipe the display screen can dissolve this special coating, negatively affecting the display quality.
