Neodymium-iron boron magnets have long been widely used. As time progresses and the technological era advances, their applications become increasingly evident. These magnets not only feature small size, light weight, and strong magnetic power but are also reasonably priced and excellent in today's society. The key raw materials for neodymium-iron boron magnets include neodymium metal, pure iron, iron-boron alloys, and other additives, which contribute to their excellent properties. While magnets bring us many conveniences, they also pose certain risks, such as magnetizing electronic products with magnetic components like keyboards and bank cards.

Neodymium-iron boron magnets are used in descaling and scale prevention. After water is treated with a neodymium-iron boron strong magnetization, the water molecule bonds undergo deformation in firing angle and length, with the hydrogen bond angle decreasing from 105 degrees to around 103 degrees. This causes a series of physical and chemical property changes in the water, significantly increasing its activity and solubility. During the boiling process, calcium carbonate in the water is transformed into a lower, more solid calcium bicarbonate, which is not easily deposited on the walls and can be easily carried away by the water. Additionally, the aggregation degree of other substances in the water is improved, and the solid substances dissolved become finer particles. After particle refinement, the distance between two ions is smaller, making it less likely to coalesce on the walls, thereby achieving the descaling effect.

Rare earth functional materials industry mainly focuses on high-performance neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet materials, which are primarily used in high-end applications such as new energy and energy-saving environmental protection markets, such as EPS and new energy vehicles.

Neodymium-iron-boron magnet manufacturers are following the innovation in the automotive industry and the demand for energy-saving and environmentally friendly vehicles. Low-energy, low-noise, and low-emission electric or hybrid vehicles have become the sought-after goal of everyone. Bonded NdFeB magnets offer advantages such as high magnetic properties, small size, and high efficiency. Motors using NdFeB magnets can achieve 8-50% higher efficiency than conventional motors, reduce power consumption by over 10%, and increase volume and weight by over 30%. This drives the development of automobiles towards miniaturization, lightweighting, high performance, and energy-saving environmental protection.

Neodymium-iron boron magnets, as the third-generation rare earth permanent magnetic materials, possess high functionality and are widely applicable. However, be mindful that to prevent corrosion damage, protective treatments are required on the surface of neodymium-iron boron magnets, such as electroplating with gold, zinc, and the application of epoxy resin coatings.
