Vacuum suction cups, also known as vacuum lifting devices, are generally a cost-effective method for gripping products. These suction cups come in various types, with rubber suction cups capable of operating at high temperatures, and silicone suction cups being particularly suitable for gripping rough-surfaced products; polyurethane suction cups are highly durable.

Additionally, during actual production, if the suction cups are required to be oil-resistant, materials such as polyurethane, nitrile rubber, or vinyl-containing polymers can be considered for their manufacture. Typically, to prevent surface scratches on the products, suction cups made of nitrile rubber or silicone rubber with a corrugated tube are preferred. When using vacuum suction cups (without clamps) in the EOAT, it's important to note that the speed of the robot's movement should not be too fast, as this can generate a shearing force on the suction cups, making it easy for the product to fall off during rapid rotation.

In certain cases, a clamp can be used to ensure the safe transportation of products. Considering the possibility of products sticking to molds, a vacuum cup can often be fitted with an air clamp to address this issue.

When the surface area of the product is too small or the product is too heavy for a vacuum suction cup to be used, a clamp can also be utilized to address this issue. Vacuum suction cups are widely applicable, even in very specialized environments. However, special maintenance should be given to vacuum suction cups in extreme conditions, and certain precautions should be taken during use.

1. In low-temperature conditions

When using vacuum suction cups in an environment below 5°C, to prevent condensation water from compressed air and moisture from solidifying or freezing, measures such as installing air dryers should be taken.

2. Impacts and Vibration

Impact on vacuum component products should be below 150m/s, and vibration should be below 40m/s. Exceeding these values may cause malfunctions.

When wiring cables for vacuum suction cup pressure sensors, keep a safe distance from high-voltage power sources and machines with significant interference, such as high-voltage lines and power lines. Otherwise, it may cause false operation or failure.
