Dongguan's water treatment equipment is user-friendly, easy to install, highly effective in purification, and can produce the required water output, making it an excellent choice in all aspects. It's precisely because of its superior performance that we don't worry about any issues during use. However, no matter how good the equipment, problems are inevitable due to certain reasons. What could be the cause when the water in the water treatment equipment turns yellow?
Firstly, inspect if the water valve and pipes are rusty, or if there is secondary contamination. If the water valve and pipes are in good condition yet the water remains yellow, then check the resin in the soft water tank. It is likely the resin has been contaminated. This is because the resin was not properly backwashed for a long time, failing to slowly inject industrial saltwater into the resin to allow for a displacement reaction between the sodium ions in the saltwater and the calcium and magnesium ions in the water.
Once the resin has reached saturation after displacement reaction, it should be backwashed to clean the impurities adhering to the surface of the resin, restoring its effectiveness. If the resin has been contaminated and the soft water has turned yellow, use a professional disinfectant to sanitize the resin, then rinse it with hot water between 70 to 75 degrees Celsius.
If Dongguan's water treatment equipment does indeed experience such issues, first check if it's due to rust at the water valve. If that's the case, replacing the valve should suffice. If the problem persists after ruling out the valve and pipes, we'll need to inspect the equipment further.
