Belt Conveyor Working Principle:

The belt conveyor is primarily composed of two end rollers and the closed conveyor belt that wraps around them. The roller that drives the belt rotation is known as the drive roller (or transmission roller); the other roller, which alters the direction of the conveyor belt's movement, is called the redirection roller.

The drive roller is powered by an electric motor through a reducer, and the conveyor belt is propelled by the friction between the drive roller and the belt. Drive rollers are typically installed at the discharge end to increase traction, which is beneficial for the conveying process. Materials are fed into the system at the feeding end, fall onto the rotating conveyor belt, and are transported to the discharge end by the friction of the belt.
