The quality of the equipment itself is important, but so is the daily maintenance and care. We provide you with some key points for the operation and maintenance of plastic crushers, which may vary depending on the machine type and working conditions. General precautions include:

Prior to startup, manually rotate the drive wheel one or two turns to ensure smooth movement before turning on the machine. Only feed material after the crusher operates normally.

Before shutting down, the feeding should be stopped first, and the material in the machine should be drained out, followed by cutting off the power supply to the motor.

3. During operation, monitor the bearing temperature to ensure proper lubrication and pay attention to any unusual sounds or vibrations. In case of abnormalities, stop the machine to check if it's jammed by non-breakable objects or if the components are damaged.

4. Ensure the feeder of the crusher maintains even feeding to prevent overloading. Strictly prevent any uncrushable objects from falling into the machine. When crushing is not possible, the moisture content of the feed cannot be too high; during wet crushing, maintain an appropriate water level to prevent blockages due to insufficient water and reduce production capacity.

5. Inspect the particle size of the broken products to ensure it meets the requirements. If there are too many particles exceeding the specified size, identify the cause (such as excessively large screen gaps, overly wide discharge ports, or worn-out hammers), and take appropriate measures to eliminate them.

6. When the crusher is parked, check if the bolts are securely fastened and assess the degree of wear on the areas prone to wear. For tooth crushers, take the opportunity to remove any plastic materials caught between the teeth during shutdown.

7. Worn-out parts should be replaced or repaired promptly.

8. The safety device of the crusher must be kept in good working condition; under no circumstances should it be compromised for convenience, rendering the safety device ineffective.
