Important Considerations for Using Pneumatic Presses

Due to the high-speed operation of the pneumatic compressor's booster cylinder, it is prone to simple wear and tear. Therefore, it is essential to follow the operating manual. The operating temperature of the booster cylinder is approximately -5℃ to 60℃, with an operating speed of 50 to 1000mm/s. To ensure the normal operation of the booster cylinder, the pneumatic compressor manufacturer advises us of several points to be mindful of during use.

Do not alter and add other hydraulic oils. The hydraulic oil selected for the pressure cylinder during design is VG68# anti-wear hydraulic oil. Do not change it arbitrarily to use other liquid mediums (such as engine oil, water, etc.).

2. Prior to connecting the supercharger cylinder to the air line, please first remove any dust and debris from the pipeline and components to avoid reducing the service life of the supercharger cylinder.

3. Operations must strictly follow the procedures. The action sequence must be executed according to the sequence shown in the air route assembly diagram, i.e., pre-compression action - pressure increase action - pressure release - pre-compression reset.

4. Under normal atmospheric pressure conditions, the cylinder must operate within the pressure range specified in the inspection report. It is imperative to adhere to the operational pressure limits and not exceed the regulated working pressure.

5. Be mindful of the operating environment for the supercharger cylinder. The operating temperature within the cylinder's design environment is predetermined. If a change in the operating environment is required to exceed the temperature, please contact the supercharger cylinder's technical personnel. As some components within the cylinder are made of iron, do not use it in environments particularly chaotic (such as those with contact with chemicals). Additionally, install effective air treatment elements (a three-point assembly) at the front of the cylinder and ensure timely lubrication and drainage.

6. Pay attention to maintenance and regularly inspect the operation of the supercharger cylinder. To prevent excessive pressure during the supercharging process from damaging your mold or workpiece, please install a pressure-reducing valve at the entrance of the supercharging section to effectively protect your products. To ensure the stability of the supercharger cylinder operation, it is recommended to install a gas accumulator in parallel between the three-way valve and the supercharger cylinder as much as possible.

When the pressure cylinder is used for over 500,000 times or for more than six months, it is recommended to replace all the hydraulic oil in the cylinder to improve its service life and working years.
