To produce high-performance products through gravity die casting, it's essential to ensure that the casting conditions during production are met. Do you know how to make the production requirements of a gravity casting machine more rational?


1) Gravity casting is a processing technique used to manufacture required metal raw material products, which includes casting, plastics, extrusion, cold rolling, drafting, stamping dies, drilling, powder metallurgy, and more. Among them, gravity casting is the most basic and common processing technique.


2) Gravity casting involves pouring molten metal into a hollow mold made of corrosion-resistant materials, and then cooling it to achieve the desired shape, resulting in the casting piece obtained from gravity casting.


3) Gravity casting castings can be divided into gray-black metal casting (including pig iron, castings) and non-ferrous plate metal casting (including aluminum alloys, brass, zinc alloys, cast aluminum, etc.) based on the raw materials of the casting.


4) Gravity casting castings can be categorized into sand casting and metal mold casting based on different molds. A fine casting factory is proficient in both casting processing technologies, designing and manufacturing, as well as producing these two main casting molds.


5) Castings can also be categorized based on the metal liquid processing techniques into force casting and working pressure casting. Force casting refers to the process where the metal liquid is introduced into the mold using the effect of Earth's gravity, also known as casting.


General gravity casting encompasses a broad category that includes narrow-sense gravity casting techniques such as private casting, metal mold casting, investment casting, mold casting, clay mold casting, etc., particularly referring to metal mold casting.


Work pressure casting refers to the processing technology of introducing metal liquid with different external force effects (no force) into molds. Theoretical work pressure casting includes aluminum casting machine work pressure casting and vacuum pump casting, gravity casting machines, and extraction casting, etc.


Metal mold die casting, a specific type of die casting for aluminum, commonly referred to as aluminum casting, is crafted through narrow work pressure.


Aluminum alloy gravity casting produces products with higher strength compared to other casting methods, making the castings lighter for the same size. This is one of the reasons why aluminum alloy gravity casting is popular.


However, manufacturers must also ensure that the castings meet relevant production and usage standards, and that there are no defects.
