Features of Internal Wall Sandblasting Gun
Efficiency:
The internal wall sandblaster utilizes high-pressure jet technology, enabling thorough cleaning of pipeline interiors in a short period, thereby enhancing work efficiency.
Chengdu's large-scale pipeline internal wall shot blasting machine highlights its high efficiency, which can significantly reduce working time.
Accuracy:
The sandblasting machine emits evenly sized sand particles and can control the direction of the blast, ensuring precise cleaning results.
Safety:
The sandblasting machine typically features a closed structure to prevent stone chips from flying, ensuring the safety of the operator.
During sandblasting operations, the air pressure of the air compressor is maintained between 6.0×10^5 and 6.5×10^5 Pa to ensure stable and safe operation.
Reliability:
The sandblasting machine is crafted using high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing techniques, offering a longer lifespan and higher reliability.
Environmental Sustainability:
Sandblasting media is recyclable, reduces pollution, and meets environmental protection standards.
Surface Treatment Methods
Preparation Phase:
Prior to sandblasting, a thorough cleaning of the pipe interior is required to remove slag, spatter, and other adherents, as well as to wash off surface oils and soluble dirt.
Inspect the corrosion grade on the surface of the metallic structural matrix and perform pre-treatment such as rust removal.
Sandblasting Operation:
Using an air compressor, aim the spray material at the inner surface of the pipeline to be treated, maintaining a distance of approximately 15 to 30 centimeters.
Dry, oil-free compressed air for sandblasting control ensures optimal sandblasting effect.
The optimal angle between the jet direction and the normal to the surface of the matrix steel should be between 15° to 30° for achieving ideal roughness and cleanliness.
Post-Processing:
After shot blasting, if the base steel surface gets wet due to rain or other conditions, the surface moisture must be dried with dry compressed air before proceeding with subsequent work.
For areas that the spray gun cannot reach, manual or power tools must be used for rust removal to ensure the entire inner surface of the pipeline is clean and has consistent roughness.
Safety Precautions:
Operators must wear appropriate protective equipment, such as safety goggles and dust masks.
Regularly inspect the safety attachments and pressure vessels of the shot blasting machine to ensure safety and reliability.
To prevent sand particles from entering sensitive areas such as the eyes and mouth, ensuring the safety of operators.
By combining the above features and processing methods, the internal wall sandblaster effectively cleans the inner surface of the pipeline, achieving ideal cleanliness and roughness, providing a solid foundation for subsequent painting or thermal spraying processes.
