When using adhesive for paper bags, it should be applied appropriately. Environmental factors such as humidity, temperature, or seasonal changes can affect the bonding effectiveness. Therefore, to achieve ideal bonding results for paper bags, it is necessary to make some minor adjustments to adhesive techniques as the environment changes, to ensure the bags do not come apart.
Do not add any other solvents to the adhesive in paper bags to maintain its concentration, as it may reduce the adhesive's viscosity. Some paper bag manufacturers add a certain amount of other solvents to the adhesive to prevent the paper bags from stretching, thereby lowering the adhesive's viscosity. However, this actually damages the chemical structure of the adhesive, affecting the bag's durability and leading to adhesive failure in the paper bags.
Ensure the surface of the paper bag adhesive is clean and free of debris, and that the bonding surface is degreased, cleaned, and completely dry before proceeding with the adhesive bonding.
Ensure the adhesive position is 2 centimeters. In order to secure customer orders, some paper bag printing factories have reduced the paper area to decrease the adhesive position, which leads to insufficient adhesive area at the sticky spot and causes the paper bags to come apart. Additionally, one must be cautious with the application of environmentally friendly paper bag glue, as overapplication can result in excess adhesive oozing out and sticking to other bags. Therefore, care should be taken when applying glue to the paper bags.
