The oil-free screw compressor boasts advantages such as low noise, high-quality compressed air, and stable performance. To ensure its efficiency and lifespan, the following points should be noted during operation:
Maintain the cleanliness of the oil-free screw compressor body.
2. Maintain a Clean Workplace: Clutter can easily lead to accidents.
3. Be mindful of the workplace environment: Oil-free screw compressors should not be left exposed to wind and rain; avoid working in damp and dark areas, and refrain from operating in locations where flammable, explosive liquids and gases are stored, or where there is a lot of dust.
4. Do not aspirate flammable or explosive gases, nor operate in an environment containing these gases.
5. Proper Machine Storage: Unused oil-free screw compressors should have the air and wastewater drained from the storage tank and be stored in a dry environment.
Do not force machine operation: operate according to the specified voltage, speed, or load on the oil-free air compressor.
7. Cable Protection: Do not pull cables out by the power plug; keep cables away from heat sources and oils, and avoid contact with sharp objects.
Beware of Electric Shock: When using oil-free air compressors, please do not let your body come into contact with grounded items (such as conduits, heating pipes, refrigerators, etc.).
9. Keep Out: Children and Unauthorized Personnel — To prevent injury and electrical shock, do not allow children or individuals not related to the work to approach the oil-free screw compressor.
10. Pressure-Relief Start-up: Strictly prohibited to use above the maximum pressure; otherwise, it poses a risk of the gas storage tank exploding.
Warning: Using non-genuine original factory accessories can easily lead to screw machine damage, and even personal injury.
Ensure that the power voltage matches the voltage specified on the oil-free screw compressor label. If the power voltage exceeds the compressor's rated voltage, it may cause personal injuries and damage the air compressor. Conversely, if the power voltage is below the compressor's rated voltage, it may result in abnormal startup or even damage the motor.
13. The screw compressor is only suitable for compressed air and must not be used to handle any other gases under any circumstances. It is not to be used for suction of liquids, particles, solids, or any flammable substances that could lead to explosions.
14. Power Off Promptly: Develop the habit of switching off the power supply when not in use after work.
Here are my personal insights into the precautions for using oil-free screw compressors, hoping they will assist you in making a choice for your oil-free screw compressor.
Due to the variations in each screw machine manufacturer, including production batches and models, it's essential to contact the manufacturer when issues arise or maintenance and inspections are needed. This facilitates the resolution of problems encountered during the production process of screw machines.
