Enclosures and cabinets are used for housing and protecting electronic equipment, thus differing from purely functional cabinets like safes or filing cabinets, which do not require any additional special features. In addition to storage capabilities, enclosures and cabinets should also possess excellent ventilation and heat dissipation functions. Due to the placement of electronic devices, there are other functional requirements:
Firstly, there's the power requirement. Server cabinets are used to house computer equipment and such, which requires electricity. Therefore, there is a power requirement for server cabinets, and they must be equipped with a power supply.
Next, the requirement for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. When many devices operate together, they generate certain levels of electromagnetic waves, which can converge to form EMI when in large numbers. To ensure optimal performance, we have proposed EMI shielding requirements for our cabinets and enclosures.
Moreover, the arrangement of cabinets and enclosures must be orderly, with clear and organized placement of internal equipment and cable management, facilitating future equipment planning and maintenance.
