Fire-resistant EVA foam is a new type of environmentally friendly plastic packaging material, belonging to a product category of foam. It is also known as fire-resistant EVA sponge. The EVA foam overcomes the disadvantages of general foam adhesive, such as being fragile, deforming easily, and not being water-resistant.

Its closed-cell structure is excellent, with properties like being waterproof, moisture-proof, and shock-resistant. It also outperforms traditional packaging materials such as foam and rubber, and boasts good chemical resistance.

Fire-resistant EVA foam is non-toxic, odorless, and pollution-free, meeting environmental protection standards. It has long been widely used in various fields due to its water-resistant, shockproof, anti-corrosion, soundproofing, and thermal insulation properties, including packaging lining materials, electronic products, luggage back pads, travel items, outdoor gear, kneeling pads, refrigeration warehouses, jewelry, hardware, and more.

Now, standard eco-friendly EVA foam does not possess fire-retardant properties, and many customers mistakenly believe that standard eco-friendly EVA materials also have fire-resistant effects.

EVA foam is not waterproof; instead, fire-retardant EVA foam, chemically known as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, is created by adding a fire-retardant solvent or powder to the original EVA material, enabling it to act as a flame retardant. This results in fire-retardant EVA, also known as flame-retardant EVA.

Many customers previously reported that the fire-retardant EVA products they initially obtained from other manufacturers had inconsistent fire-retardant properties, often failing to meet the expected fire-resistant effects.
