2BV Series Water Ring Vacuum Pumps and Compressors
I. Application and Usage Scope
The 2BV series water ring vacuum pump is a monostage pump with an integral structure—machine and pump coaxial. It features a mechanical seal for shaft sealing, which is known for its simple structure, easy installation, oil-free operation, and reliable safety.
The 2BV series water ring vacuum pumps are suitable for removing gases and moist steam, with an aspiration pressure capable of reaching 33mbar absolute pressure (97% vacuum). When the vacuum pump operates under an aspiration pressure below 80mbar for an extended period, it should be connected to an erosion protection pipe to safeguard the pump. If an atmospheric jet ejector is used, the aspiration pressure can reach 10mbar, and the ejector can be directly mounted on the vacuum pump's aspiration port. When used as a compressor, the pressure can reach 0.26MPa (absolute pressure).
The 2BV series water ring vacuum pumps and compressors are widely used in the oil, chemical, food, and sugar industries. As the compression process of gases is isothermal during operation, they are less prone to explosion when compressing and suctioning flammable and explosive gases, thus making their applications even more extensive.
