Proper operation is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of vacuum pumps and minimizing equipment failures during use. Therefore, understanding the key operational precautions is essential for enhancing the pump's performance.
1. Inspect each valve in the vacuum pump to ensure they are in the specified open or closed positions, and check for any leaks in the system.
2. Inspect the water and electrical connections. Ensure the water passages are clear and the water pressure meets the specified requirements; when connecting the electrical circuit, make sure the rotation of each vacuum pump complies with the prescribed standards.
3. Press the point action water ring pump button, the rotation meets the requirements, start the water ring pump and immediately open the water ring pump inlet valve, adjust the water volume properly.
4. Avoid吸入contaminated gases or water particles into the vacuum pump, which can cause wear on the impeller and pump housing, or jam the impeller.
5. The bearings of vacuum pump motors should be oiled 1-2 times per year, cleaned at least once annually, and all lubricating oil should be replaced.
6. The mechanical seal used in the water ring pump has experienced leakage. It should be checked whether the dynamic and static rings of the mechanical seal are damaged, or if the sealing ring has aged. In case of the aforementioned situations, new parts are required to be replaced.
Before restarting a long-term stationary water ring pump, it should be manually rotated a few times to ensure there are no obstructions or other damage within the water ring vacuum pump.
