Nine Point Adhesives Co. has developed a PE treatment agent specifically designed for materials that are highly insensitive to PE surfaces. This agent is dedicated to the surface treatment of polyethylene (PE) materials, significantly enhancing the surface activity of PE by altering the surface reactivity. Polyethylene PE is a member of the polyolefins category, known for being insensitive to surface treatment, having low surface activity, and being very difficult to bond.
After applying the treatment agent, it can achieve high-strength bonding when used with ordinary adhesives. It is also suitable for surface treatment before painting on PP/PE materials and before oil printing.
Performance specifications
Appearance: Colorless and transparent, low viscosity organic solution.
Stability: Retains stability for one year under normal temperature storage. Neutral, non-corrosive to packaging steel drums.
Usage Instructions
If the material surface has a release agent, it can also be directly treated with PE treatment agent.
Apply the PE treatment evenly to the surface of PP/PE materials, allow to air dry at room temperature for 12 hours (curing can be achieved by heating to 50-60°C for 30 minutes to 1 hour).
After the treatment agent dries, it is ready for bonding, printing, or painting. The specific procedures depend on the adhesive type. We recommend using our company's dedicated products to ensure quality.
Due to other reasons, there may be adhesive deviation. Please contact our company promptly.
