Dongguan Business License Application Process

1. Apply for name approval at the Business Administration Bureau's name approval counter in your jurisdiction; approval typically takes two to three days.

2. After the name is approved, the Industrial and Commercial Administration will issue a "Name Approval Notice." Hold this document to visit the office address and request the property management or the local village committee to provide an address certificate -- a proof of site use (usually a copy of the property certificate, lease agreement, and rent receipts).

After preparing items 1 and 2, deposit the capital at the bank as instructed by the Industrial and Commercial Administration Bureau and seek a capital verification report from a professional accounting firm.

4. Visit the local municipal industry and commerce administration website, go to the online registration section, register a username, and log in. Fill in the required information and submit it, then wait for approval.

After the Administration for Market Regulation (AMR) approval, download the approved file and print the materials, then submit them at the registration counter of the AMR. The business license will be issued within 5 working days after the AMR accepts the application (after obtaining the business license, you can operate normally, you know).

6. Prepare the original and two copies of the business license, two copies of the legal representative's ID card, and find a company that can engrave official seals at the Public Security Bureau for the company's seals (official seal, finance seal, contract seal, legal representative's seal). Do not just find someone on the street to engrave seals, as engraving official seals requires registration with the Public Security Bureau.

After engraving the seal, bring the original and two copies of the company seal, the original and two copies of the business license, and the original and two copies of the legal representative's ID card to the Quality Supervision Administration for the organization code application (which can be collected on the same day).

Please present the original and two copies of the company seal, the original and two copies of the organization code certificate, the original and two copies of the business license, the original and two copies of the legal representative's ID card, the original and two copies of the lease agreement, two copies of the property certificate, and rent receipts to the tax authority to obtain the tax registration certificate (which can be collected on the same day).

8. Present the original and two copies of the documents obtained from the above steps to open a bank account. Typically, the bank account opening permit will be issued within one week.

After receiving the business registration certificate, take the corporate seal, bank account opening permit, license copy, documents from the capital injection, and the company's articles of association to the Industrial and Commercial Administration Bureau to complete the capital allocation procedures.

As of now, the entire process of obtaining a business license in Dongguan is completed, and the contract between the two parties for the agency is terminated.
