Maintain the cleanliness of the contact surface between electronic components and thermal conductive silicone sheets to prevent any dirt on the surface of the electronic components. Any stains on the contact surface will degrade the self-adhesiveness and sealing thermal conductivity of the thermal conductive silicone sheets.
When picking up thermal conductive silicone sheets, larger sheets should be grasped from the middle to ensure even distribution of force. There is no specific requirement for the handling of smaller sheets. This is because uneven force on large sheets can cause deformation of thinner silicone, which may affect subsequent operations or even damage them.
Three, hold the thermal conductive silicone sheet in your left hand while peeling off one side of the protective film with your right hand. Remember not to remove both sides of the protective film at the same time. Minimize direct contact with the thermal conductive silicone sheet and its surface area to maintain its adhesive and thermal conductivity without damage.
Peel off the protective film, first align the heat sink with the electronic components to be bonded. As you slowly lower the thermal silicone pad, it's best to use a flat film to push from left to right to avoid bubbles in the middle.
If bubbles form during operation, pull up one end of the thermal conductive silicone sheet and repeat the above steps, or gently wipe away the bubbles using a hard plastic sheet, without applying too much force to avoid damaging the thermal conductive silicone sheet.
Remove the second protective film, align and insert into the heat sink. Peel off the final protective film gently to avoid tearing or lifting the thermal silicone pad, which may cause bubbles.
After securing or applying a strong adhesive thermal silicone pad, apply pressure to the radiator and store it for a period of time to ensure the thermal silicone pad is properly fixed.
