1. LCP boasts self-reinforcing properties: characterized by an atypical fibrous structure, unmodified LCP can achieve, and even exceed, the mechanical strength and modulus levels of conventional engineering plastics that are reinforced with up to several tens of percent of glass fiber. When reinforced with materials like glass fiber or carbon fiber, it surpasses other engineering plastics by a considerable margin.

2. Liquid crystal polymers also boast excellent thermal stability, heat resistance, and chemical resistance. They can disregard the creep characteristics commonly found in most plastics, and they exhibit superior wear and friction reduction properties.

3. LCP boasts excellent weather and radiation resistance, along with superior flame retardancy, capable of extinguishing flames without reigniting. Its combustion rating reaches the UL94V-0 level.

4. LCP boasts excellent electrical insulation properties. Its dielectric strength is higher than that of general engineering plastics, and it has good resistance to electrical arcs. At continuous operating temperatures of 200-300°C, its electrical performance remains unaffected. Intermittent use can reach approximately 316°C.

5. LCP boasts exceptional corrosion resistance. LCP products remain unattacked when exposed to 90% acid concentration and 50% alkali concentration. They are not dissolved by industrial solvents, fuel oils, detergents, or hot water, and do not cause stress cracking upon contact.

1. Electronics and electrical are LCP's primary market: Surface assembly welding technology in electronics and electrical requires high dimensional stability and thermal resistance of materials (able to withstand gas phase welding and infrared welding used in surface assembly techniques).

2. LCP: Printed Circuit Boards, Satellite Electronics Components, Jet Engine Parts, Automotive Mechanical Parts

3. LCP compounded with high filler or alloys (PSF/PBT/PA):

As an integrated circuit packaging material;

Replacement encapsulation material for coil cores, instead of epoxy resin.

Manufactures fiber optic cable connectors' jackets and high-strength components.

Substituting ceramic as the filling material in chemical process separation towers.

Polycarbonate plastics replacing glass fiber reinforced materials (for external panels of spacecrafts, braking systems for automotive exteriors).
