August 30, 2022 – The Shandong Provincial Construction and Urban-Rural Construction Science and Technology Project, "Key Technology Research of Hospital Property Operation and Maintenance System Based on BIM," led by President Yang Shuguang, has been approved by the Shandong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. This project is an extension and refinement of the key technologies from the "Technical Guidelines for the Compilation of Hospital Building BIM Version Property Operation and Maintenance Guidelines," officially promulgated by the Shandong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on September 26, 2021, and is the first edited by our institute. Project No.: 2022-K6-1.

Modern hospitals are increasingly constrained by traditional后勤 management models in their professional management and application of vast building spaces, mechanical and electrical equipment, comprehensive safety, and energy consumption. How to leverage information technology to address the issues of professional fragmentation and inefficiency resulting from traditional management methods has become an urgent problem to solve.

The study summarizes the key technologies of hospital property operation and maintenance systems based on BIM, focusing on the application of BIM technology in the operation and maintenance of modern hospital buildings. From the perspective of hospital building operation and maintenance managers, it analyzes and evaluates the characteristics and existing issues in hospital building operation and maintenance management. Following the positive design path of data delivery—data integration—data application—data responsibility, the study investigates several critical technologies within the BIM-based operation and maintenance system.
