Transformer Classification
1. By phase count:
1) Single-phase Transformer: Used for single-phase loads and three-phase transformer banks.
2) Three-Phase Transformer: Used for voltage step-up and step-down in three-phase systems.
2. By cooling method:
1) Dry-Type Transformer: Utilizes natural air convection cooling or adds fan cooling for enhanced cooling, commonly used in high-rise buildings, toll plazas, local lighting, and electronic circuits for small capacity transformers.
2) Oil-Immersed Transformers: Utilizing oil as a cooling medium, such as oil-immersed self-cooled, oil-immersed air-cooled, oil-immersed water-cooled, and forced oil circulation, etc.
3. By Application:
1) Power Transformers: Used for stepping up or stepping down voltage in transmission and distribution systems.
2) Instrument Transformers: such as voltage transformers, current transformers, used for measuring instruments and relay protection devices.
3) Test Transformer: Capable of generating high voltage for high-voltage testing of electrical equipment.
4) Special Transformers: Including electric furnace transformers, rectifier transformers, adjusting transformers, capacitor transformers, phase-shifting transformers, etc. The base track level error roller turns smoothly, and the roller brake is securely assembled.
