We discussed the design principles and usage instructions for food wastewater treatment equipment. To achieve better performance, it is crucial to assess and study the actual conditions, as only then can the specific characteristics of the treatment be addressed effectively, leading to a satisfactory solution. This is in line with the design philosophy of our company's food wastewater treatment equipment, which is designed following a systematic approach.

During the design process, we adhered to the principles of being advanced, rational, practical, reliable, and economical. We employed advanced, practical, mature, and reliable treatment technologies to meet the requirements of fluctuating water quality and unstable water flow, ensuring that the treated wastewater meets the standard discharge requirements.

2. Employing rational technology and layout, we have optimally designed the wastewater treatment process, enhancing overall system efficiency; while striving to minimize construction costs, we ensure the system's safety, economy, and stability, achieving excellent treatment results with minimal investment. 3. Utilizing a treatment process with reasonable operational costs, we improve wastewater treatment outcomes while reducing equipment investment expenses. This reduction in both operational and investment costs brings economic benefits to the owner.

4. Featuring state-of-the-art, reliable equipment and automated control systems, the main facility incorporates targeted engineering designs for automation optimization and control in the wastewater treatment process, significantly reducing the volume of maintenance and management work. It is user-friendly and dependable in operation and management.

5. We strive to use low-noise, energy-efficient power equipment in design, and implement measures such as vibration reduction and noise suppression to prevent noise pollution.

6. The wastewater treatment project harmonizes with the surrounding environment; with a small land footprint, it employs a rational layout and optimizes the treatment process design.

Wastewater treatment in food factories generates sludge, waste oil, waste acid, waste alkali, and organic and inorganic waste from the processing stages. Food processing wastewater primarily originates from three production sections.

(1) Raw material cleaning section. A large amount of sand, soil, leaves, skins, scales, meat, feathers, and fur enter the wastewater, resulting in a high concentration of suspended solids in the wastewater.

(2) Production Process. Many components in the raw materials cannot be fully utilized during processing, with the unused portions ending up in the wastewater, leading to high levels of organic matter in the effluent.

(3) Forming Section. To enhance the color, aroma, and flavor of food products and extend their shelf life, various food additives are used, some of which are lost and enter the wastewater, complicating its chemical composition.

The characteristics of the wastewater from food processing are mainly reflected in six aspects:

Seasonal variations in production also lead to changes in the quality and volume of wastewater.

(2) Wastewater volumes vary greatly, ranging from small-scale household operations in the food industry to various large factories. The variety of products is vast, with significant differences in raw materials, processes, and scale, leading to wastewater volumes that can range from several cubic meters per day to thousands of cubic meters per day.

(3) The wastewater from the food industry contains a high proportion of degradable components. For general food industry purposes, the raw materials are derived from natural organic substances, so the wastewater is primarily composed of natural organic matter, free of toxic substances. Consequently, it has excellent biodegradability, with a BOD5/COD ratio as high as 0.84.

(4) High concentration of wastewater.

(5) Wastewater contains various microorganisms, including pathogenic ones, and is prone to decay and produce foul odors.

High nitrogen and phosphorus levels in wastewater.
