The heavy-duty racking, also known as pallet racking, boasts features such as high load capacity, a wide range of height adaptability, mechanical handling, and high selection efficiency. It can store a wide variety of items, and with the use of pallets and various accessories, it can address the storage and retrieval issues of the vast majority of materials. The retrieval machinery includes: counterbalanced forklifts, reach forklifts, and stackers.
Features of Heavy Duty Racking Products:
The columns of the heavy-duty racking are assembled from upright posts, cross bracing, and diagonal bracing connected by bolts; these columns are inserted into P-shaped closed-end beams to form the racking frame, secured with safety pins for simplicity and reliability. The steel deck plates are placed above the cross beams to create the entire racking structure. Each shelf can be adjusted vertically at a 50mm interval.
2. Typically, goods are stored on shelves after being packed in unitized equipment such as pallets and storage bins. Each unit usually weighs no more than 4000kg, with two units typically placed on each shelf. Shelves can be used individually or arranged freely in a master and auxiliary configuration.
3. Heavy-duty racking can accommodate layer load requirements based on the size of the beams, the thickness of the deck plates, and the number of reinforcing ribs. Under conditions of relative length and material requirements, the maximum layer load can reach up to 2500kg per layer.
4. The deck boards can be made of steel or wooden boards, offering strong load-bearing capacity, wear resistance, and easy replacement with low costs.
5. Generally, heavy-duty shelving has columns that do not exceed 12 meters in height and can be used to construct mezzanine shelving on the base.
6. Unit shelving spans typically range up to 4 meters, with depths up to 1.5 meters. Low and high-level warehouse shelving usually reaches heights of 12 meters or less, while extra-high shelving commonly tops out at 30 meters (such warehouses are generally automated, with total height consisting of several columns, each up to 12 meters in height).
7. Storage operations are conducted using mechanical handling equipment (counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, and stackers).
8. It is one of the most common and widely used shelving options, suitable for the vast majority of warehouses or product inventory.
9. Features random selection of goods. Handling equipment such as forklifts can access any storage location for storage operations, making the process convenient and quick.
10. Surface treatment options include spraying, galvanizing, or selecting stainless steel materials, depending on the application environment.
Heavy-duty shelving applications:
1. Pallet racking is widely used in the manufacturing industry, third-party logistics, and distribution centers, catering to both a variety of small-batch items and a limited variety of large-batch items.
2. The tray-style shelving's cost-effectiveness, safety, and ease of assembly and disassembly.
3. Suitable for manual handling of box-shaped goods or for loading loose heavy cargo in conjunction with component boxes or tote bins.
4. Widely applied in the logistics industry.
