Protective film is a great product. Don't underestimate its thin layer, as it offers excellent protection to the product. That's why it's widely used on various items. For instance, in our daily lives, protective films are commonly applied to the screens of smartphones, computers, and televisions.
As a protective film, it's not as simple as just sticking it on. Before application, the surface must be thoroughly cleaned, and it must be adhered correctly to avoid bubbles, which can affect the aesthetic quality of the film after application.
Step 1: Determining the Direction for Adhesive Film Application
Protective films are typically composed of three layers, so it is necessary to place all three layers on the screen surface together during application to easily determine the direction of粘贴.
Step 2: Surface Cleaning for Film Application
The cleanliness of the protected surface is greatly related to the normal use of the protective film. If the dirt on the surface is not thoroughly removed, the protective film cannot make full contact with the screen, leading to easy detachment. Therefore, use a fiber cloth to wipe away fingerprints, dust, oil stains, and dirt from the screen.
Step 3: How to Peel the Protective Film
When removing the protective film, first hold the sticker in place, then peel off 1/3 of the protective film instead of removing it all at once. Next, orient the exposed middle layer towards the screen and carefully align the edges, pressing them down gently onto the screen. Then, slowly peel off the entire protective film, ensuring that all the exposed middle layers are aligned and pressed onto the screen along the edges.
Step 4: Removing Air Bubbles in Film Lamination
After completing the aforementioned steps, you will notice many small air bubbles in the protective film. It is crucial to use a flat scraper to remove these bubbles to prevent any residue from diminishing the effectiveness and lifespan of the protective film.
