Transformer Frame Quality Inspection

In addition to quality verification during the development and design phase, and first piece and巡回 inspections during production, comprehensive inspection is a crucial aspect of reinforcing quality control. Since Bakelite-type frames are fragile products, they can sustain damage at any stage of production, such as during edge trimming collisions, pin insertion collisions, and during product transfers. Therefore, it is essential to conduct full inspections to filter out defective items, ensuring that all products delivered to customers are of high quality and enhancing the company's quality image. During inspections, it is preferable to assign experienced senior staff to handle the operations. For each product model, a comprehensive inspection guide is prepared and hung at the inspection station, where the inspector follows the guide's instructions for selection. The selection process should be carried out at a slower pace to ensure that every part of each product is confirmed.

The product design, mold design and manufacturing, and production stages are interconnected, with each process affecting the entire frame production. Product design directly influences mold design and manufacturing; molds cannot be designed and produced based on product structure alone. When the product structure design is not reasonable, the mold, once manufactured, can cause indirect effects during injection molding, such as excessive gel thickness leading to shrinkage and fragile, thin structures due to poor design. Poor design can also lead to issues like cracking at the pin hole edges due to thin gel. Therefore, design is a crucial part of the entire frame design and manufacturing process. Good design can avoid unnecessary mold modifications and reduce the risk of product scrapping due to high-quality defects.
