Precision small parts require careful handling. To tighten loose rivet nuts, follow these methods:
1. Plain Washers and Spring Washers: Spring washers are widely used in the load-bearing and non-load-bearing structures of general mechanical products. They are characterized by low cost, easy assembly, and can be used for frequently disassembled positions. However, spring washers have a low anti-loosening capability!
2. Utilize anti-loosening lubricant for nuts. Before operation, apply the anti-loosening lubricant thoroughly to the nut tightening area, then proceed with the installation of the bolted nuts. This method provides a good anti-loosening effect.
3. Counterbored screw nuts with dowel pin fixation. Dowel pin fixation refers to the assembly and positioning using cylindrical pins, conical pins, perforated pins, and safety pins, thereby achieving anti-loosening effects.
4. Added flat washers. Washers are components that fill the gap between workpieces and rivet nuts, not only protecting the workpiece surface from scratches but also achieving excellent anti-loosening effects.
5. Anti-loosening Double Nuts. During the installation process, by using a left-hand thread nut and a right-hand thread nut in conjunction, an excellent tightening and anti-loosening effect can be achieved.
