Sunshine Group partners with Fangtian Mold ERP to achieve highly integrated and informatized enterprise management

After a thorough three-year selection process, in July 2014, Xiangxin Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed a contract with Fangtian Model Technology Co., Ltd. Fangtian will provide Xiangxin with a comprehensive solution covering mold design, manufacturing, and finance, laying a solid IT foundation for Xiangxin's IPO.

Chen General Manager and Yang General Manager of Xiangxin Technology Co., Ltd. spoke at the event, stating that Fangtian marks the beginning of our ERP project. With the company's growth, IPO, and the eager expectations of our clients for our planned production, and in response to the increasingly competitive global market, it is imperative to adopt computerized lean production. After careful evaluation, we have chosen Fangtian Modelde as our partner in enterprise digitalization. Today's attending managers bear the heavy responsibility and will work together for the next 6 months to advance this project.

Successfully implement the ERP software project to support integrated management of the enterprise, enhance its adaptability, achieve integrated marketing strategies, implement agile supply chain management, facilitate business decision-making, realize economic benefits in material management, improve assembly and customer service levels, strengthen internal production planning management, and enhance analysis and control of cash flow.

Mold project milestones are broken down, with comprehensive global management coordination.

Xiangxin Mold has implemented the Fangtian B9ERP system. Based on the characteristics of mold structure and production cycle, it has established project plan categories, providing project engineers with various project plan templates and control schemes for plan nodes, enabling the rapid generation of mold project plans. It also automatically links mold project plans with mold part processing plans, driving the mold part plans with mold project plans.

The highly intelligent automatic production scheduling feature offers a combined push-pull scheduling approach, and automatically compares the mold production and processing plans within the project's master schedule, providing early warnings and reminders for工序 tasks that are or may be overdue.

Automatically aligning project scheduling with processing plans, procurement plans, assembly plans, and trial molding plans, the system dynamically and in real-time queries project progress and facilitates scheduling adjustments.

Stay updated on material progress

Xiangxin previously relied on manual applications and statistics for the mold BOM material list before implementing Molderp. The workshop had to depend on verbal inquiries and coordination to track material progress. After launching Molderp, the design department quickly and automatically imported the BOM table, confirming part numbers, names, specifications, materials, weights, material requirements, and control types. The procurement department strictly generated purchase orders based on the BOM details, achieving a three-party comparison, material inspection upon arrival, warehousing, and accounts payable management. Moreover, all departments can now use the system to promptly and easily understand the status of each set of mold materials upon arrival.

Real-time control over mold progress

The factory management struggles to keep up with the production status of various molds in the mold room, making it difficult for workshop supervisors to respond promptly to the mold room's conditions. This often results in clients finding it challenging to get a clear overview of the mold progress, necessitating substantial time and manpower to organize and compile relevant production data.

After implementing the Tianfang B9 ERP system by Xiangxin, after the production scheduling personnel issue the part process card, the workshop processing personnel perform real-time operations such as receiving, starting, pausing, and completing the processing workpieces through touchscreens or barcode scanners, providing accurate basic data for querying the actual processing progress of molds, machine status, and labor hours used.

Employee and Machine Performance Management

Prior to implementing the Molderp system by ExecuTech, the personnel in the mold workshop of Xiangxin's workshop had almost no performance management. How were the performance of mold masters to be assessed? Since the mold industry operates through a system akin to a "contractor," focusing only on delivery dates and completion times, without concerning itself with the distribution of intermediate process tasks, there often arises the issue: Who gets to make the easier molds or the ones with higher unit prices? Moreover, workers could receive high salaries without actually doing any work, and the machine utilization rates could not be accurately statistically analyzed. The working hours of machines and personnel could not be compared either.

Post the establishment of the Molderp system by Futian, the system integrates people-based management while establishing a scientific management model for mold enterprises. It implements a practical operational system that can calculate employee workloads, equipment utilization rates, and conduct comparative analyses of planned versus actual working hours. This makes performance management transparent, scientific, and reasonable. Employee performance reports stimulate employees' enthusiasm and cohesion for processing, enhancing production efficiency. Supervisors of each process are responsible for their respective performance, establishing a tiered responsibility system.

Mold Cost Refinement Management

The design department's mold BOM import, order placement, inventory, material dispatch, and accounts payable settlement are streamlined. Additionally, the process includes scanning for work statistics with工艺卡, outsourcing process steps, trial molding, and inventory management. This standardizes the production process from design to manufacturing and inventory for molds, while also细化 mold costs and data control.
