Many are aware that capacitor vacuum tubes are made of plastic PVC material. While they are reusable, improper storage can accelerate the aging of the packaging tubes, thereby reducing the lifespan of the capacitor vacuum tubes. So, how can we better prevent the packaging tubes from aging prematurely? Here are several methods to prevent the rapid aging of packaging tubes.
1. Capacitor vacuum tubes should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated area to avoid direct sunlight.
2. Store under temperatures below 45 degrees Celsius and humidity below 80%.
3. When storage exceeds 6 months, it is mandatory to retest the surface antistatic value to ensure compliance and inspect for any deformation in appearance.
When packaging vacuum tubes with cardboard boxes, the storage surface on the ground must be level, and they should be placed on racks to prevent deformation of the packaging tubes and a reduction in the static value.
Please wear work gloves when manually packaging using the packaging tube to prevent hand injuries from scratches and to avoid contamination from sweat and other debris.
6. Absolutely no heavy loads should be placed on top of the packaging tube, as this may easily cause deformation due to compression.
7. Under conditions where fire is strictly prohibited and adequate fire extinguishers are provided, capacitor vacuum tubes can be stored for 6-12 months, with anti-static values reaching 10^6-10^11.
