Equipment Characteristics
High-boiling agent
Utilizes metal components to handle materials with a boiling point of up to 450°C under vacuum conditions of 0.001 mbar.
Adhesive and capable of containing solid materials
The blade immersed in the liquid film generates a strong shearing force, which can significantly reduce the viscosity of the mixture, thus allowing the handling of materials with a viscosity up to 50Pas.
Excess solid content material

Color-sensitive materials
In the SY type short-path distiller, our company has professionally designed a device to prevent metal wear. This device is crucial, as it safeguards against color-sensitive materials being affected due to non-volatile substances (reconstituents) flowing through the distiller and being compromised by metal wear.
High distillation ratio
Utilizing precision-made scraping blades ensures that the liquid film is evenly applied to the heating surface, resulting in the entire heated area being moistened. This meets the requirement for high distillation ratios, allowing for over 90% of the product to be distilled, while maintaining a constant amount of residue.
Low maintenance costs
Due to the rational structural design and unique rotor, the abrasion of the scraper blade and the metal surface is avoided.
Structural Features
Precise rotor
The intense turbulence generated by the scraper immersed deeply in the liquid film results in a superior heat transfer ratio on the heating surface compared to other rotor systems (e.g., a large metal rod with a PTFE tube).

The above example shows that the same heating area with different scraper blade designs can yield different results; the SY-B model can increase the distillation volume by 20%.
2. Built-in condenser
Condensers typically use coil, U-shaped tubes, or tube bundles, which are fixed at the bottom of the distiller. The shape of the condenser and the spacing from the heating surface directly affect the separation purity, yield, and vacuum level inside the distiller. Therefore, the company, with its long-term experience in evaporation/distillation, designs different internal condensers based on various process materials.
3. Mist separator
The mist separator is essential for this product, which can be inserted between the rotor scraping blades or placed behind them. These splash guards prevent any droplets carried by the steam flow. As the droplets pass through, they are deflected and thrown back to the heating surface for separation.
Type of Equipment
Short-path distillers operate under high vacuum conditions and have special requirements for刮膜片 (刮片) and the internal condenser. To reduce the thickness of the liquid film and enhance the displacement of the liquid layer, our company categorizes them into two types based on the刮膜片 design.
SY-A Type Short-Range Distiller
The scraper blade is of radial sliding type, evolved from the WFE-VA scraper evaporator. The scraper is mounted in the U-guide slots of the rotor, and as the rotor rotates, the scraper is radially slid from the U-guide slots to the heating wall surface under the action of centrifugal force. The guide slots are evenly distributed around the circumference of the rotor (see Figure 1). The rotor is in a squirrel-cage design, with dynamic vapor-liquid separation devices between the guide slots to prevent the splashing and entrainment of droplets.
The material for scraper blades is typically composed of graphite and the like.
SY-B Type Short-Range Distiller
Similarly, the scraper blade of the SY-VB is similar to the WFE-VC (Figure 2), with the scraper blade adhering tightly to the heated wall surface due to centrifugal force. In the SY-B type short-path distillation unit, the scraper is limited to prevent metal wear, a feature that is important when handling color-sensitive materials, as the non-volatile components of these materials flow through the distillation unit without their color being affected by metal wear. This type is widely used, and the centrifugal force is adjusted by changing the frequency and quality of the scraper to accommodate various viscosities. The scraper material is typically the same as the metal material used for the evaporator drum, or it can also be made of PTFE.
