General Packaging Regulations for Express Delivery in International Transportation:

The goods must be packaged securely, intact, and lightweight, to prevent breakage, leakage, or loss of contents during transportation.

2. The shape of the packaging should be suitable for the nature, condition, and weight of the goods, and should facilitate handling, loading, and stacking.

3. Goods and animals carried under specific conditions, such as perishable and live goods, must be packaged in accordance with the specific requirements for each type of cargo.

4. For small express parcels (such as small samples), an additional wooden or cardboard box must be used for packaging, filled with padding material or similar. After packaging, the total length, width, and height of the entire express parcel must not be less than 40 cm, with the shortest side not less than 5 cm.

5. Pre-paid materials inside the packaging (such as wood shavings, paper shavings) must not leak out.

6. In case the packaging of the goods does not meet the required standards, a notification should be issued to the shipper, requiring them to modify or repack the goods before shipment.

Special packaging requirements for certain goods:

Please pack items such as pianos, ceramics, and crafts in wooden crates.

(1) Many countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and Japan, have strict regulations for unprocessed logs or logs in packaging. They must be sterilized in the country of export and accompanied by an accepted sterilization certificate for the importing country to accept the shipment. Otherwise, fines may be imposed or the goods may be returned to the country of export.

(2) The European regulations for wood packaging material of pine species require that, upon importation of goods, the certificate of origin must be presented by the original exporting country's quarantine authority, stating there are no pests.

(3) Processed wooden furniture does not require fumigation.

(4) Everyday items such as books and various utensils can be packed in sturdy cardboard boxes and treated for moisture resistance.

(5) Fill fragile items with packing material to prevent damage.

(6) If conditions permit, lay a layer of waterproofing material (e.g., plastic bags, cloth, etc.) inside the cardboard box.

Within a packaging box, heavy and light items should be properly arranged for easy handling.

The box should be filled with packing material to ensure it is full and secure. Items such as toilet paper, tissues, and small garments can be used for filling to prevent damage from shifting and collision during transportation.

Liquid goods. There must be a 5-10% air gap within the container; the lid must be sealed flatly; no leakage is permitted.

Powdered goods. Ensure that the powder does not leak out.

Sensitive and fragile items. It is recommended that individual cargo not exceed a gross weight of 25 kilograms. Multi-layer packaging, hanging packaging, anti-tilt packaging, and glassware packaging can be utilized.
