Installing exhaust and air purifiers is necessary as laser engraving certain materials may produce toxic smoke or particles, and dust inside the equipment can lead to malfunctions or fires. Additionally, protective eyewear with an optical density of 5 or higher and a wavelength of 1064 nm is required (note that protective eyewear degrades over time and it is recommended to replace it regularly). The specified minimum bend radius for fiber optic cables is 150 mm or greater.
