Metal panels are decorative sheets made from metal materials, such as aluminum single panels, steel plates, and stainless steel, with their surfaces processed through various techniques like spraying and transfer printing. They offer benefits such as good luster, diverse colors, fire resistance, and long service life, and are widely used for decorating indoor and outdoor walls, columns, door frames, and other areas. Metal panels can be divided into two main categories: ferrous metals, like steel and iron, primarily used in heavy-load areas such as frames and railings; and non-ferrous metals, like aluminum and stainless steel alloys.

When it comes to decorative panels, most people think of wood, but few consider metal panels.

Aluminum Composite Panel

Aluminum Composite Panels (ACPs) are a new type of metal curtain wall decorative material, which are made from high-grade aluminum alloy sheets as the base material. They are shaped through CNC bending, welding, sanding, and other techniques, with decorative coatings applied to the surface of the aluminum sheets. Aluminum composite panel manufacturers commonly use thicknesses of 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, and 3.0mm. ACPs feature excellent properties such as light weight, high strength, good rigidity, corrosion resistance, and durability.

2. Aluminum Honeycomb Panel

Honeycomb aluminum panels, also known as aluminum honeycomb panels, are widely used eco-friendly decorative building materials, primarily consisting of an aluminum honeycomb core, backing panel, and facing panel, bonded together with high-temperature, high-pressure aviation-grade adhesives. These panels offer resistance to high wind pressure, vibration reduction, sound insulation, thermal insulation, and flame retardancy, making them highly applicable in the field of high-rise building decoration.

3. Aluminum ceiling tiles

Aluminum ceiling panels are decorative materials made by a single stamping process from lightweight aluminum sheets, with a special coating applied to the outer layer for long-lasting color retention. They are easy to install, resistant to deformation, and offer fire, moisture, and static electricity resistance, as well as sound absorption and insulation. Additionally, they are aesthetically pleasing and practical. Aluminum ceiling panels come in two types: perforated and flat. The thickness of engineering aluminum ceiling panels ranges from 0.5mm to 1.2mm. Common sizes include 300mm x 300mm, 600mm x 600mm, and 600mm x 1200mm, with larger sizes corresponding to greater thickness.

4. Stainless Steel Decorative Panel

Stainless steel decorative panels are made by special polishing of stainless steel thin plates, featuring a mirror-like surface with high reflectivity and minimal deformation, comparable to high-end mirrors. They are fire-resistant, moisture-resistant, non-deformable, and non-breakable, easy to install, but should be protected from scratches by hard objects. The thickness of stainless steel decorative panels is categorized as: thin plates (below 3.0mm), medium plates (3.0mm-40mm), and thick plates (above 40mm). Thin plates are commonly used for indoor decoration, such as wall decorative panels, which usually choose 1.2mm or 1.5mm sheets. To ensure the flatness of the stainless steel decorative panels, it is recommended to use sheets of no less than 1.2mm thickness.

5. Aluminum-Plastic Composite Panel

Aluminum-plastic panels are a type of metal sheet made by adding a large amount of aluminum hydroxide and a moderate amount of flame retardant to high-pressure polyethylene, and then processed through plasticizing, hot pressing, and foaming techniques. These panels are lightweight, soundproof, heat-insulating, and moisture-proof, primarily used as ceiling and wall facing materials.
