Leak Repair Protection

The bridge crane trolley reducer often experiences oil leakage at the static seal areas of the mating surfaces due to factors such as vibration, wear, pressure, and temperature. Traditional methods of treatment require disassembling the reducer, replacing the sealing gaskets, or applying sealant, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive, and it's difficult to guarantee the sealing effectiveness. Leaks may reoccur during operation. In contemporary Western countries, high polymer composite materials are commonly used for on-site leakage treatment, such as the Fushilan series. The repair using high polymer materials can be done without disassembly, and these materials offer superior adhesion, oil resistance, and a stretchability of 350%, effectively overcoming the impact of reducer vibration. The repair effect is more effective than traditional methods.

Wear Management

Bridge crane active wheels and trolley reducers operate frequently, and repeated reverse stops and stops can cause increased torque and vibration in the reducer's shafts, leading to potential leakage issues. Traditional methods for addressing such problems typically involve welding or brush plating followed by machining, but both methods have their drawbacks: welding at high temperatures generates residual thermal stress that can't be fully eliminated, leading to bending or fracturing; and electroplating is limited by coating thickness, which can easily peel off. Both methods also involve metal-to-metal repairs, which do not alter the "hard-to-hard" fit, and under combined forces, they can still lead to further wear. The repair methods mainly utilize high polymer composite materials, with products like Meghua Technology being widely used due to their strong adhesion and excellent compressive strength. Repairing with high polymer materials eliminates the impact of welding thermal stress, and the repair thickness is not restricted. Additionally, the materials possess a yielding property that metals do not have, which can absorb equipment shocks and vibrations, preventing further wear and significantly extending the service life of equipment components. This not only saves a substantial amount of downtime for the company but also creates substantial economic value.

1. Bridge Crane Appearance: Clean the exterior to ensure no dust accumulation or yellowing. Inspect for any cracks or weld openings.

2. Large and Small Vehicles: ①Inspect and tighten the drive shaft mount, gearbox, couplings, shafts, and keys for looseness; ②Check and adjust the brake wheel clearance for evenness, sensitivity, and reliability.

3. When inspecting the bridge crane reducer, primarily check for oil leakage. If there is an unusual noise inside the housing during operation, open the cover for inspection. This is usually due to bearing damage, excessive side clearance between gear teeth, or severe wear on the gear surfaces.

4. Hoist Operations: ①Inspect the wire rope, hoist hook, and pulley for safety and reliability; replace if wear exceeds the specified limit. ②Check and adjust the brake to ensure it is safe, sensitive, and reliable.

5. Inspection of bridge crane wire ropes. Pay close attention to observing broken wires, wear, kinks, and rust during the inspection. For areas with severe wear or broken wires that have not exceeded the standard, make a mark for focused follow-up inspection. Ensure that the safety limit switch for the wire rope on the drum is effective, and check if the wire rope clamps on the drum are securely tightened and if the number of clamps is appropriate.

6. Lubrication: Inspect the oil quality and quantity of all parts, add or replace lubricating oil as required.

7. Inspection of bridge crane pulleys. Check for excessive wear at the bottom of the groove and the presence of cracks in cast iron pulleys. The balancing wheel of the pendulum mechanism pulley group is often overlooked as it is not in use under normal circumstances. Therefore, ensure its rotating flexibility before installation. Otherwise, the lengths and tensions of the pendulum ropes on both sides cannot be automatically adjusted through the balancing wheel during installation, thereby increasing the difficulty and danger of adjusting the pendulum ropes at high altitudes.

8. Electrical: ①Check the sensitivity and reliability of all limit switches; ③Inspect the responsiveness and reliability of the electrical equipment within the electrical box; ③Verify the safety and reliability of the motor, bell, and wiring; ④Ensure the signal lights are functioning properly.

Ensure that all shaft couplings on the overhead crane are tight and check for any "keyway" issues. Pay particular attention to the abnormal wear on the elastic rubber rings of the elastic pin shaft couplings, and be especially vigilant about the gear rim wear on the gear tooth couplings. Due to poor installation precision, if there is a significant offset between the two shafts, the entire gear rim may quickly wear down in a short period. Such conditions in the lifting mechanism can easily lead to serious accidents.
