To ensure the safety and reliability of crane operations, cranes should be equipped with comprehensive safety devices. These devices are designed to protect machinery or alert operators in the event of an accident, thereby providing safety protection.

1. Each overflow valve in the hydraulic system: capable of suppressing abnormal high pressure in the circuit, preventing damage to the hydraulic pump and motor, and avoiding overload conditions.

2. Lifting Arm Swing Safety Device: In the event of an unexpected accident where the high-pressure hose or pipe in the lifting arm swing cylinder circuit ruptures or is severed, the balance valve in the hydraulic circuit activates, locking the working oil from the lower chamber of the cylinder to prevent the lifting arm from dropping, thereby ensuring the safety of the operation.3. Boom Extension Safety Device: In the event of an unexpected accident, such as a burst or cut in the high-pressure hose or pipeline of the boom extension hydraulic cylinder, the balance valve in the hydraulic circuit activates, locking the working oil from the lower cylinder chamber, causing the boom to retract automatically, thereby ensuring the safety of the operation.4. High Limit Device: Once the hook is lifted to the specified height and touches the limit weight, the travel switch is activated, illuminating the "Overrun" indicator light. Simultaneously, the operation of lifting the hook, extending the boom, and lowering the boom is cut off to ensure safety.

5. Leg Locking Mechanism: In the event of an unexpected accident, such as a rupture or cut in the high-pressure hose or pipeline leading to the vertical cylinder of the leg, the bi-directional hydraulic lock within the hydraulic system can seal off the pressure oil in both chambers of the leg locking cylinder, preventing the leg from retracting or being ejected, thereby ensuring the safety of the lifting operation.6. Lifting Capacity Indicator: The lifting capacity indicator is positioned on the side of the basic boom, allowing operators to clearly view it from the control room. It accurately indicates the boom's tilt angle and the corresponding rated lifting capacity permitted by the crane under the respective working conditions.

7. Limiting devices for amplitude; For cranes with telescopic boom, smaller amplitude limiters and devices to prevent the boom from rebounding and tilting backward should be installed. For overhead cranes with trolley amplitude, it is mandatory to install trolley travel switches and terminal cushioning devices.

8. Jib Locks and Travel Limiters: Fixed Girder Tower Cranes must be equipped with jib locks. Additionally, travel limiters should be installed.

For cranes with boom pivot heights exceeding 50 meters, wind gauges must be installed at the top.

10. Lightning Protection and Electromagnetic Interference Prevention Devices: For cranes with boom root hinge points exceeding 50 meters in height, lightning protection devices should be installed and electromagnetic interference prevention measures should be taken based on actual conditions.

11. Tower cranes should be equipped with a limit torque coupling to prevent overloading during rotation.
