Cationic fabric is a polyester-based fabric, typically employing cationic yarns in the warp direction and regular polyester yarns in the weft. Sometimes, to achieve a better imitation of linen, a blend of polyester and cationic fibers is used, with separate dyes applied during染色; regular dyes for the polyester yarn and cationic dyes for the cationic yarn, resulting in a two-tone effect on the fabric surface.
Characteristics of the Bi-color Cationic Ion
One of the characteristics of cationic fabric is its dual-color effect. Leveraging this feature, it can replace certain dyed dual-color fabrics, thereby reducing fabric costs. This is a unique aspect of cationic fabric, yet it also limits its versatility. When faced with multi-color dyed fabrics, cationic fabric can only be substituted.
2. Cationic fabrics boast vibrant colors, making them ideal for artificial fibers; however, they exhibit poor wash and lightfastness for natural cellulose and protein textiles.
3. The cationic fabric also boasts excellent wear resistance. With the addition of artificial fibers like polyester and spandex, it achieves higher strength and better elasticity, with its wear resistance ranking second only to nylon.
4. Cationic fabrics possess some chemical properties, such as resistance to corrosion, alkalis, bleaching agents, oxidizers, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products, and inorganic acids, as well as certain physical characteristics, like UV resistance.
Applications of Bicolor Anion
Cationic fabric, with its excellent water absorption and minimal dyeing tank differences, is particularly suitable for sports apparel, primarily used to make t-shirts, sport pants, yoga wear, and more. If the cationic fabric is thick and has a good plush effect, it can also be used for thermal clothing and thermal pants.
2. The cationic polyester-cotton interlock fabric is also highly effective in terms of environmental protection, and can be used as eco-friendly polyester-cotton fabric.
3. The cationic fabric is soft to the touch, comfortable to wear, and features vibrant colors, resembling the look of natural fabrics. It boasts excellent elasticity and hygiene properties, making it suitable for producing underwear, swimwear, and sportswear fabrics.
