The Water Flow Switch is a sensor component used in the circulation control of water systems for electric water heaters, solar water heaters, air conditioners, and other water systems. It manages in-and-out water control, water heating control, pump switch control, solenoid valve on/off control, and controls for water shutdown and power-on. It converts water flow into a switch-type electrical signal once a certain flow rate is reached.
1. Permits both horizontal (with the plastic part on top) and vertical installations.
2. The installation should generally be in the pipe section between the pump outlet and the equipment outlet, not on the pipe of the pump's suction inlet. This is to prevent the pump from being unable to draw water normally and for the water flow switch to be unable to activate.
3. When installing a baffle-type flow switch, it is crucial to ensure that the direction of the water flow in the pipeline aligns with the arrow on the flow switch junction box. Otherwise, the flow switch will not function properly. Additionally, do not manually twist the black plastic shell, as this will also cause the flow switch to malfunction.
