The spray tower, also known as a scrubber tower, is a common waste gas treatment equipment used in the waste gas treatment process. It is widely employed in environmental protection projects for waste gas treatment. How should we maintain and care for the spray tower in daily use? Let's take a look together:

One: Daily Use of Spraying Tower

The structure of the spray tower includes the tower body, circulating water pump, circulating water tank, etc. During installation, simply connect the ventilation管道 and fan, and the tower can operate normally after debugging. In daily use, just turn on the fan and pump switches for normal operation.

Regular inspections of the spray tower

During operation, it is essential to regularly inspect the following items of the spray tower:

1. Is there any severe dirt or debris on the equipment's surface?

2. Are there any blockages in the packing balls or the spray layer of the spray tower?

3. Is the circulating pump operating properly?

4. Check for blockages in the recirculating water tank.

5. Is the sediment at the bottom of the spray tower too thick?

6. Check for any loose parts or unusual noises during the operation of the spray tower.

Regularly inspect and record the items listed above. In case of any issues, repairs and maintenance should be conducted as follows.

Section 3: Daily Maintenance and Care for Sprinkler Towers

1. Regularly clean the surface of the spray tower and water pumps, as well as the surfaces of fans and pipes, to prevent debris from accumulating and piling up.

2. If the spray tower packing balls and the spray layer are found to be clogged, it is recommended to first close the supply ball valve of the spray layer, increase the water pressure of the circulating pump to another spray layer. Additionally, flush the nozzles and packing balls. After eliminating the clogging, switch to the other spray layer for flushing and cleaning. If the clog is severe and cannot be cleared by the water pressure alone, consider replacing the clogged spiral nozzle.

3. If the spray tower pump runs empty or makes unusual noises, it should be shut down for maintenance and inspection. An empty running of the pump usually indicates that the water level in the reservoir is too low; the inlet ball valve should be opened to replenish the circulating water. If abnormal noise or loosening occurs, identify the specific cause and repair it promptly. Once restored, it can operate normally.

4. Open the cover of the circulating water tank and inspect the multiple filter plate openings within. If numerous stains and blockages are found in the mesh, remove them, clean them thoroughly with a brush, and replace them in the spray tower. For excessively severe blockages, use warm water or add a chemical agent for cleaning.

5. Regularly clean the sediment at the bottom of the spray tower. Promptly drain the wastewater from the spray tower, open the transparent inspection hatch, and staff can enter the tower to remove the sediment with tools, followed by rinsing the bottom and walls of the tower with clean water. In case of severe stains inside the tower and in the circulating water tank, use the appropriate chemical agents for cleaning.

6. In the event of loose parts or abnormal noises during the operation of the spray tower, it is essential to promptly identify the cause and carry out timely reinforcement or replacement of the relevant components.
