As the economy and other aspects rapidly develop, there is a high demand for efficiency across the board, such as loading and unloading efficiency, transportation efficiency, etc. The traditional manual handling of goods is gradually being replaced by mechanical equipment, such as hydraulic lifting platforms and forklifts, which are now widely used by many companies. In recent years, there has been a growing demand for hydraulic lifting platforms.
What should we be aware of when using fixed hydraulic lifting platforms? The lifting machinery manufacturer discusses this with you below:
1. Opt for using outdoor elevators or aerial platforms in areas with wind speeds below 5 levels, as high winds may pose safety hazards.
2. During maintenance or when malfunctions occur, the power supply should be immediately disconnected. After lifting, the outdoor lifting equipment should be securely fastened before proceeding with repairs.
3. During operation, the work surface of the lifting equipment should maintain a level state.
4. Be vigilant of oil leakage in outdoor elevators or mobile lifts, as it may lead to secondary damage due to insufficient hydraulic oil.
Do not overload during operation; items should be properly placed.
6. The hydraulic oil used should maintain cleanliness and must not be contaminated with water or other impurities. It is typically replaced once a year or every year and a half.
During the lifting and lowering of the machine, climbing is strictly prohibited.
In adverse outdoor working conditions, personnel should wear safety harnesses.
9. The electrical system control for outdoor elevating platforms operates at a safe voltage of 24v. Non-professional maintenance personnel are prohibited from opening the electrical box to prevent electric shock.
