Galvanized steel strand is a product made by twisting multiple galvanized steel wires together from wire material. It is primarily used for suspension, hanging, communication cables, overhead power lines, and securing objects, among other applications, and is a commonly used steel material in the power sector. During the production process of steel strand, the longer twisted strands are recoiled and collected onto a reel for delivery, then transported to the work site. Before use at the work site, the steel strand is unwound from the reel using a laying-out device.
Steel wire strand coiling device. Currently, it is difficult to remove the steel wire strand from the coiling device upon sale, and the coiling device is sold together with the steel wire strand. The coiling device includes a left side panel, a drum, and a right side panel. The left side panel is fixedly connected to the drum, while the right side panel can be detachably connected to the drum. The drum is a hollow cylinder formed by three or four arc-shaped support plates that interlock and fit together with gaps. There is a main shaft hole in the middle of the left and right side panels, with a strip-shaped groove on top that corresponds to the gap on the drum. A connecting rod is set in the middle of each arc-shaped support plate. This steel wire strand coiling device ensures the smooth removal of the steel wire strand after winding, overcoming the previous drawback of not being able to remove the steel wire strand from the coiling device and having to sell it together with the product.
