The HD series explosion-proof electric contact pressure gauge is composed of an explosion-proof housing, measuring system, electric contact assembly, adjusting device, and wiring box. The explosion-proof housing of the electric contact pressure gauge exhibits excellent explosion-proof performance. Therefore, in addition to withstanding the explosion pressure generated by the explosive gas mixture within the housing upon ignition, it effectively prevents the rapid outward propagation of heat energy. Instead, it allows for a slow outward diffusion along the tiny gaps of the explosion-proof joints within the housing. By this time, the instantaneous temperature outside the housing has dropped below the ignition temperature of the explosive gas mixture, preventing further propagation. The working principle of the explosion-proof electric contact pressure gauge is based on the elastic deformation of the detecting element (spring tube in the measuring system), which is mechanically transmitted to drive the contact points in the electric contact assembly to produce corresponding actions (closing or opening), thereby connecting or disconnecting the circuit in the pressure control system, achieving the purpose of automatic control, alarm, and on-site indication.
