Drying equipment plays a crucial role in industries such as food processing. Both conventional drying equipment in the domestic market and major international market drying equipment are primarily manufactured in China, indicating that the history of import-oriented drying equipment in China has come to an end. However, the market still faces some issues and challenges today.
The industry association predicts that in the coming years, China's demand for drying equipment in the chemical industry will reach approximately 3,000 sets annually. The annual demand for drying equipment is expected to reach around 3,000 sets. For industries such as forestry, agriculture, and light industry, the annual demand for drying equipment is projected to be around 5,000 sets. Currently, the market share of drying equipment in China has exceeded 80%.
During the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" period, China's drying equipment market share is expected to reach 90%. Currently, numerous universities and research institutions across the eastern, western, and southern regions of China are involved in drying technology research and development. However, most of the knowledge achievements have not been effectively transformed into real productive forces. The corporate sector becoming the main body of technological innovation is directly related to various forms of collaborations with these universities and research institutions. Therefore, reasonable resource allocation and utilization, as well as effectively cultivating and developing innovative enterprises, are crucial.
Looking ahead, the development of the competitive drying equipment industry will focus on product quality, technology, service, and pricing. Types of equipment used in drying, such as air heating devices for dry air, vacuum drying equipment, and other devices like far-infrared dryers, flash drying machines, microwave drying equipment, and users in special fields will gradually see an expanded number of applications.
Currently, China's main export products are vacuum drying equipment, drying equipment, vibration equipment, small and medium-sized grain, agricultural, forestry, food, and local product drying equipment, with an annual export volume exceeding 100 units. The primary export destinations are Southeast Asian countries and other developing nations, and the doors are now open to the European and American markets.
China is increasingly producing a variety of drying equipment, expanding its scale, and rapidly improving product levels and quality, enhancing its market competitiveness. Particularly, the supportive export policies in China are creating favorable external conditions for domestic enterprises producing drying equipment, indicating a promising development outlook for China.
