A dryer is a piece of machinery that uses heat to reduce the moisture content of materials, utilized for drying operations on objects. Dryers heat the materials to vaporize and remove moisture (usually water or other volatile liquid components) to achieve the specified moisture content of the solid material. The selection rules are as follows:
① Original Material Shape: Granules, powders, microparticles, sludge, crystals, liquids, pastes, suspensions, solutions, continuous sheets, thick plates, irregular materials (small or large), thick or chunky, etc.
② Average production rates, including continuous operation feed quantity or finished product, intermittent operation feed quantity or finished product, and their adjustment ranges.
③ Product granule condition, including average particle size, particle size distribution, particle density, bulk density, and rehydration properties.
④ Material import/export moisture content: dry and wet basis.
⑤ Material Properties: Chemical, biochemical, microbiological activity, thermosensitivity (melting point, glass transition temperature), hygroscopic isotherms (equilibrium moisture content), etc.
⑥ Effects of drying time, drying curve, and operating parameters.
⑦ Heater Contact Types (Direct, Indirect)
Fuel options include steam, coal, electricity, oil, and gas.
Dry辅助 equipment: Fans, dry dust collectors, wet dust collectors, feeders, discharge equipment, finished product cooling and conveying systems, etc.
Special Requirements: Composition of materials, corrosiveness, toxicity, non-hydrophilic solutions, flammability and explosiveness limits, ignition point, color, structure, and fragrance requirements.
Dry System: Floor space required for the drying equipment and auxiliary devices.
