The Multi-Effect Evaporator is primarily used for treating industrial wastewater with high concentration, high color, and high salt content. It also recovers by-products generated during the wastewater treatment process. It features low steam consumption, low evaporation temperature, high concentration ratio, and is more rational, energy-saving, and efficient.

In the first evaporator heated directly by steam, the secondary steam generated from the boiling of the heated liquid enters the next evaporator as a heat source, which is a two-effect evaporation. This sequentially utilizes the secondary steam of the previous effect as the heat source for the next evaporator. According to the law of conservation of energy, the amount of steam consumed by the processor to evaporate 1 ton of water is: single-effect 1.1, double-effect 0.57, triple-effect 0.4, quadruple-effect 0.3, quintuple-effect 0.27.

The material is evenly distributed within the tubes of each evaporator through an allocator. Under the influence of gravity and secondary evaporation in the form of self-evaporation, the material forms a film. Simultaneously, the material film exchanges heat with the outer wall steam of the tubes, causing the moisture in the material to heat and evaporate. The stable temperature difference and heat transfer lead to a stable evaporation process. The secondary steam formed by the evaporated water is utilized multiple times, depending on the material characteristics. This maximizes the reuse of steam, thereby reducing steam consumption and achieving the objectives of multiple-effect evaporation and energy conservation.
