To ensure the accuracy and consistency of intermodulation test metrics, and to avoid errors in the third and fifth order intermodulation test metrics of passive devices, it is recommended to pay attention to the following matters:

1. Currently, the intermodulation specifications of passive components in bulk domestic deliveries are just meeting or slightly above the threshold requirements (-120dB/-150dB). The margin for intermodulation is minimal. If the testing is not conducted properly, significant errors in the test results can occur; therefore, if possible, it is recommended to observe the testing on-site when conducting the specification tests.

2. To ensure the accuracy of test data, the machine must be preheated for at least 15 minutes before testing.

3. The reliability of the connection points significantly impacts the test results. To minimize testing errors, ensure all connections are secure. Use a torque wrench to tighten the rotating parts, and gently tap the test stand twice. Don't assume it's tight just by a single twist; it may not be accurate.

4. If the test duration exceeds 30 seconds, it is required to tighten the connector regularly during the test process. This is because the thermal effect generated during the test can loosen the contact surface, resulting in increased test errors.

5. Find the right spot, and the stable test value is correct. The connection cable (low intermodulation) must not be severely twisted; the connection cable (low intermodulation) and connector (low intermodulation) used for testing are fragile components. If any issues are found (looseness, unstable test results, etc.), they should be replaced promptly.
