If the belt deviates and touches the drive pulley, the alignment device immediately activates, rotating the centering idler roller to a certain angle, quickly correcting the belt.

Features an essential centering roller positioning function:

The alignment roller exerts a biasing force on the belt after rotation, and the belt simultaneously exerts an opposite reaction force on the alignment roller, causing the roller to reverse and reset. If the alignment roller is not braked, the biasing force will disappear as the roller resets. The braking positioning function allows the alignment roller to be positioned at a specific angle, where the biasing force balances the run-off force, enabling the belt to run at the centering line position.

When evaluating a belt alignment machine, it's crucial to note whether it has this feature. This function may seem simple, but it significantly impacts the machine's stability and the effectiveness of alignment.

Structure and Principle

The pre-set belt automatic alignment device consists of a vertical roller mechanism, a consumption roller mechanism, and a connecting rod mechanism. When the belt deviates, the edge of the belt pushes the vertical roller in the direction of the belt deviation. Simultaneously, the connecting rod within the vertical roller mechanism moves the longitudinal pull rod, which in turn pulls the drum mechanism to synchronously deviate. The linear movement direction of the deviated drum forms an angle with the direction of belt operation, and the lateral friction force generated during this process drives the belt to stay centered.

Product Features: High correction accuracy; equipped with a cross rod, the device effectively controls the belt to run within a 10MM range of the machine frame centerline.

The roller used in this device is an upper roller for an online belt conveyor. Should the roller become damaged, the user can simply replace their own in-use roller, thereby reducing downtime.
