Overview
The DDZ Type Belt Breakage Catcher is a new type of belt protection product developed by our company. Based on the deficiencies identified in the practical use of previous catchers, this product has been improved to offer more advantages, including greater gripping force and enhanced flexibility.
Operating Principle
The DDZ-40/80□100□120□140□160□200 type belt conveyor uses a cutoff grabber installed at multiple points along the belt conveyor. When the belt operates normally, the middle one-way wheel rotates with the belt, and the left and right model闸块 are positioned below the belt without contact. The upper闸块 is adjusted to the sides of the belt, parallel to the belt's longitudinal direction.
When a belt break occurs, the actuating device causes the upper brake block to rotate quickly above the belt, simultaneously moving the wedge-shaped slot to hold and brake the descending belt between the upper brake block and the wedge-shaped brake block, preventing the belt from sliding down further.
Performance Features
During normal operation, the upper brake block and wedge brake block do not contact the belt, and the upper brake block rotates to the sides of the belt, thereby avoiding obstruction of coal transportation.
When braking the belt, use the downward pull of the belt as the driving force to lock the wedge-shaped brake block, thereby stopping the descending belt without the need for external power.
During braking, the belt is held between the brake block and the wedge block. The blocks and belt are in surface contact, with a large braking area, causing minimal damage to the belt.
Adjust the upper brake block adjustment bolt according to the carrying capacity, and set the depth of the upper brake block extending into the belt.
The integrated installation bracket is used, which significantly increases the strength compared to the separate bracket. Easy to install.
